My assesment danny garcia vs zab judah

I had it 8 rounds to 4 for Garcia, I was really surprised Danny won 3 of the first 4 rounds but at one point in the fight, I think it was the 9th, he got Judah hurt and went in reckless for the kill and Judah blasted him with a counter that hurt Danny and even though Danny didn't go down he just wasn't as explosive after that only in small spurts. Judah surprised me because I thought he would fade in the late rounds but being a VET he new Danny was fading and it gave him hope for a late KO. I gave Judah the last three rounds but I can see somebody wanting to give Danny one of the last rounds because he seemed to end one of them stunning Judah and making him dance a little bit, IDK I'll have to watch it again. This version of Judah would K.O. today's version of Khan..... OOPS! Sorry didn't mean to hurt any Khan fans or start any arguments but he's a good boxer with a vulnerable chin and after what I saw tonight my opinion any one of the other tourney challengers ko's him . But anyway Danny showed improvement, just needs to be a little careful when he hurts somebody and not get clipped. Very good fight much respect to both fighters and I say f**k the tourney let them do it again.

This version was no different from the one that fought Khan, actually when he fought Khan he put better combinations together

Styles make fights, Khan was able to keep Judah away with the jab, reach, and movement. This current version of Zab wud have ended up the same way.

Danny hand speed is ****, he has no jab, and he doesn't move, so Zab was able to land. To fight someone like Zab you need a jab, Danny was throwing hooks, which was never goin to really ever going to keep him at bay.

Only difference was this fight was personal and Zab didn't give up because he had that extra reason to carry on, he cud have easily quit and caged up, but he didn't and that was because all of that baggage that came with the fight.

I think people are really starting to realize that Khan is very vulnerable to a KO with just about anything you can land flush on his chin.

Starting to realize? everyone always knew he was vulnerable, he wobbles in just about every fight

Zab knew that when he fought khan, he just cudnt cope with the speed, reach, jab and movement.

Garcia was easy to hit because he stands right infront of you and throws no jab and his speed is average at best.

Zab had all the tools to take out Garcia, he's just to old now, he should have thrown more combos

I disagree I think Danny did start with his jab and abandon it later when he saw he was hurting Judah. That's why he got caught and hurt coming in.

zab was beating him to the jab, danny said it post interview and decided to give up on it

I thought Judah overreacted in the fight against Khan when he thought he got low blowed. He should've suck it up and carried on, the fight's outcome could've been totally different....

I've haven't checked out the fight myself. I don't where to find good quality video where I can see who hitting who.

Good analysis. I thought it was really close! And I think Showtime's commentary is a joke. If you thought HBO commentary was biased, just brace yourself for Showtime's incompetence and general impartiality.

I had it 114-113 to Garcia.

I thought Judah fought a smart fight, and controlled the earlier rounds. But soon Garcia totally outclassed him in all 4 aspects of scoring. Even all the last 3 rounds were not all Judah's as the judges would have you believe. But my main contention is the early rounds. I didn't like it at all how Showtime gave them to Garcia, not even conceding that they were very close.

Overall, a good fight. I think Judah should just retire now to maintain his pride, and of course not risk his health.

IT doesn't matter because it was still making it easier for Danny to land straight rights and body shots that's why Danny was a able to win most of the first rounds and I don't think anybody expected that. Like I said Danny had a good game plan he just got excited when he saw he had Judah hurt and started coming in to reckless and got caught, after that he wasn't the same and started holding his hands low, eating shots. So even though he said that in the post interview doesn't mean it was a good idea that's just my opinion.

I agree. The Youtube commentators are better than the HBO commentators lol
