When was Martinez actually hurt in the fight? The first "knockdown" came from a trip and the second supposed KD came from a grazing puch to the back of Sergio's head. Also, no one actually knows whether Martinez cut came from an actual punch, not that it matters.
If you actually review the fight you'll see that Murray hardly threw or landed a punch in rounds 1-4. In fact, in round four Sergio landed a hard overhand left on Murray's face while Martin's best punch of the round came from a low blow. lol.
In rounds 7, 11, and 12 Sergio landed multiple jabs and overhand lefts while pushing the action.
Rounds 5 and 9 were toss up rounds.Last edited by BafanaBafana; 04-28-2013, 02:31 AM.

Originally posted by BafanaBafanaI reviewed the fight, I thought Martinez won rounds 1, 2, 3, 4,7, 11, and 12 clearly. Murray won rounds 6, 8, and 10 clearly. Rounds 5 and 9 could have gone either way. The fight could have been scored 114-112 Sergio, 115-112 Sergio (as the judges had it), or 116-111 Sergio.
I dare anyone to rewatch the fight and tell me Sergio didn't at least win rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 11, and 12. Sergio was more active in those rounds and was also throwing the harder shots.

That low blow was FAKE, Martinez feigned a low blow after a punch from Murray landed on his hip. pathetic
the wuss also feigned a headbutt later on, so he could get some recovery time after he got stunned from an uppercut from Murray, and got away with it thanks to that **** biased referee
Nobody is dis*****g that Sergio won the first 4 rounds, thanks to Murray's utter lack of activity, he was giving Sergio too much respect at first, undeservedly so, as soon as Murray started to let his hands go he was beating Sergio from pillar to post.Last edited by lopetego; 04-28-2013, 07:34 AM.

its amazing the double standards lol
people say canelo won because he landed cleaner and harder
people say bradley won because he landed more volume
murrey landed CLEANER, HARDER AND HE LANDED MORE. martinez won the first 3 rounds, after that he got his ass kicked, simple, he never won another round until 11 and then lost the 12th imo
it was a blatant robbery
edit
also the fact murrey won more rounds, he got 1 kd and got robbed another kd
