The question for casual boxing fans is: Without this being a tune up for a Pacquio fight, why should they care about Mayweather vs Guerrero, much less pay for it?
Most people on this board are going to watch no matter how good or bad the promotion is, but that isn't what brings in the PPV buys.
Both Mayweather and Pacquio have benefited from their potential matchup being part of the national sports conversation. Without that being a possibility, what else does Guerrero bring for the non boxing enthusiast?
Not sure if Golden Boy or Showtime has really answered that question. Their best hope is to get a lot of fight day buzz and hope the casual viewing audience bites. We might hear some outlandish things come fight week....

Nothing new really, but decent especially for a casual fan.

      LL Cool J.....really???

Might as well bring in Flavor Flav while we're at it, imagine that....

Nothing new for the hard-cores really besides Floyd dancing all fruity while wearing cross colors.
I see we shared similar thoughts on that scene.

I thought the documentary was pretty good. It did a great job of introducing Mayweather to the casual fan, and breaking down his accomplishments, criticisms, and personality. It also had footage that I have never seen before.

It glossed over a ton of stuff that I thought was pertinent, but then again it was only an hour long. And I didn't have a problem with LL. The Guerrero stuff felt lazily tacked on though.

They need to start putting this effort into other boxers. Everyone already knows who Mayweather is at this stage. They're over cooking the ham.
