i am tired of getting excited for naseem to come back. the prince has let me down too many times so i cant do it anymore. i would like him to come back but dont want to get set myself up for disappointment again.

It's cool that you're a loyal fan, and being optimistic is not a bad thing, but I just don't see it. He and Steward can blame whoever they want, but Naz is the guy who puts on the gloves, and ultimately wins or loses. A great champion must have the discipline to train hard on his own, so getting your ass whipped, and then pointing the finger at everyone else in your camp shows me that Naz hasn't matured, and never will. He is one of the most exciting fighters in the world when he's on, but saying he'll KO Morales or Barrera- please. Barrera destroyed him, and he has been fighting for the last 4 years- tough fights at that. The Princess needs to forget about ever being a champion again because it ain't gonna happen. Can you see him fighting at Lightweight? Do you honestly think he could hang with Corrales or any of the other elite lightweights? If you do, the you're fooling yourself.

it pisses me off how barerra passed up an opportunity to fight naz when he was in his prime "94-95", he passed it up back then cus he knew he would have gotten his ass served,

if naz indeed makes a comeback, look out for him, all he needs is a good trainer, a good promoter, and determination.

hes already got a very powerful punch, its crazy to think of the knockouts he can do if he comes back fit.

naz is a freak (not in a good way, either). he plays to the crowd and IMO hes not that entertaining. his high KO percentage is mainly due to the poor quality of competition. and as soon as he fought a real fighter in barerra, MAB exposed him.

dont even think about him moving up past 126. hes 5'4", for god's sake. hes too small to move up. besides, if barerra so handily defeated naz, can you imagine what pacquiao would do to him?

Well, as much as Manny knows about boxing, his opinions on these fighters shouldn't even be considered because he is biased...he trains them.

Find quotes from other very well-regarded fight people, who have no attatchment to the fighter in question.....& then their quotes will have validity.
