you cant say this , maybe if you had some training videos to back it up or somthing , anyways time will tell
The Prince will Return
Actually....I think the Naz supporters have to produce evidence to support their beliefs.
Hamed has not looked good in many, many years......agreed ?
Take his fight with Augie Sanchez-
Sanchez didn't deserve a title shot...was a basic neophyte, & one who had been knocked unconscious (one shot) prior to facing Hamed.
Yet, there he was....giving Hamed hell, including an obvious knockdown (not a balance shot, either) that the ref ridiculously called a slip. Hamed took a lot of shots, before KOing the weak-chinned Sanchez.
Hamed was ready to be taken then, & that was August of 2000.
I was reffering to the eat everything he see's statement jabs
I just get frustrated by the way people just trashtalk all the time on here
I did'nt say Cotto was most complete in history ( that would be ****e considering he hasn't retired yet) however I said I though he was the most complete fighter I have seen and I doubt we can really question his chin as he has always came through his dodgy moments with a win and with Torres he showed he knows how to dig deep and produce results even when the chips are down.
This site could really be a great place to discuss boxing but its full of people who just want to sit in there homes and act the big man,
I would love to see this happen if these discussions took place in person.
There's too many young twats here who's sole purpose is to smacktalk people.

And there's always an idiot on hand to join in.
Well, if you choose to scour the archives, you will see that I mix trash talk in with true discussion. Not always, but here & there. This would be a boring, very un-manly place if everyone was pleasant & sweet all the time. I don't know what kind of guys many others, on here, hang around with, but I know my friends & I break each others' balls. Especially in sports debates.
you just talkin about jabs.
kerm u need to chill out he came across to me as just having a laugh with the eating everything line.
your last post u whinge about people talking **** then you go and do it????

it would be boring without all the smack talk, if you want a scholarly debate on anything go to a cafe, or get a blog and stay there, its all yours, you can talk all the cotto you want
Jabs you mentioned that you thought the Naz KD in Sanchez fight should have been counted... the one where he apparently slipped, but you didnt mention the way Sanchez got completely dismantled in that fight. That KO is so ****ing good its untrue, and that combo that finished him off what sweet beyond belief.
About the Calvo fight, i just watched it, and by far Naz's best round is the second and also the eleventh. He wasnt on form but the reflexes and power were still there. The hand speed was questionable, but still there. The only thing was that he went in there with a gameplan to box Calvo, (set up by Oscar Suarez as Manny Steward was sacked), and that plan got him the fight, but it wasnt exciting to watch. Seriously, go and watch that fight, you will see that Naz is still ducking in and out, the power is good and so is Calvo's chin. He slips once in the corner (perhaps water?), and wins every single round. It was "trash" by Hamed's standards, for sure. But winning every round and making a mess of the other dudes face, when he is at least European standard, in a comeback fight, with over a year out of the ring, is pretty good going if you ask me...

No need to mention it....because there's no reason that Hamed should have struggled with Sanchez.
Big deal, he KO'd a guy who has something neurologically wrong with him. Did you read my post, where I mention Augie getting knocked unconscious early in his career ? Did you see his fight with JM Johnson / Knocked unconscious then, as well.
Snchez did not belong in a title fight, at that stage....so any good things you saw in Hamed, that night, are overshadowed by the low level of comp he faced then.
