I've been saying the same thing for a year now, an Khan seemed to have much much less pop on his punches tonight than usual.

i almost think khans speed drastically reduces his punching power. Its like he is slapping the guy then pulling back in trying to get the next shot off as quick as possible.

I would say he should sit down on his punches a lot more but if he did that he would be more likely to get caught in an exchange and we all know how that ends.

Virgil Hunter is the right trainer for Khan because he is able to communicate specific instructions during a fight, something Mayweather Sr and Roach don't do effectively in my opinion. Khan needs the type of trainer that can keep him focused on the task and effectively communicate to him.

In all reality, a trainer can only do but so much for a fighter. I can have the best sprinting coach in the world, workout everyday, have a great diet, take the best supplements, but there is no way in hell I'm going to beat Usain Bolt in a 100 meter dash. My best speed is still nowhere near what Usain Bolt accomplishes on his worst day. The greatest mechanic is not going to turn a Ford Pinto into a top notch competitive race car. All ****** Hunter can do is help Khan reach the fullest of his potential. Even if Khan reaches that level, it still may not be good enough to beat the elites in his division due to his liability of having a somewhat weak chin.

Khan is an offensive minded fighter no trainer can completely change him he is what he is exciting offensive fighter with a chin problem

What kind of chin/jaw does Khan? Glass, porcelain, feather, tissue, eggshell, gossamer?

I'm starting to think that maybe Khan is missing some genetic material or something. He can box his azz off when he wants to. Good movement, fast hands, and decent instincts, but when he needs to box, he brawls. Why would a person who's chin has failed them time and again continue to try to sit in the pocket and trade? He keeps talking about how much he has matured and whatnot, but clearly even Virgil can't get him to shake that mentality.

Khan, dude, face it, you are not a brawler, not even a boxer-puncher. You are just a fast, stylish BOXER. And, there is nothing wrong with that, boxers win world titles and have great careers too. (e.g. B-hop, Ward, etc.) Just come to grips that as a fighter you should focus on out-boxing, and only brawl when absolutely necessary. Your toilet paper chin isn't two-ply brotha, it's single sheet you got under that beard.

BTW, I agree with most of the other posters here, he's going to get completely destroyed by any of the real elite JWWs out there.

All personal opinions aside, we're all boxing fans when it comes down to it!!!! Soooooo the truth is what the truth is !!!! Kahn cannot take a freakin punch at all !!! Is he fast? Can he box? Does he have heart? Yes !!! Of corse he's all of those, it's just unfortunate for him, the fool can't take a freakin punch at all !!! So weather u love him, or hate him, it ALL comes down to HE CAN'T TAKE A DECENT PUNCH !!!!

Khan showed TREMENDOUS heart and he got hit with over 50 flush shots to the chin and held on so he hasn't got a glass jaw.

He seems to have no power anymore and thats the problem opponents just walk through his punches,he couldn't hurt him once,even kendall holt ko'd him with ease but that wa s a dehydrated diaz.

I think khan struggles with taller fighters he struggled with peterson,got ko'd by prescott and nearly ko'd by diaz,and also remember this fight was at a 143 catchweight khan had to put on a bit of weight to fight and i think that effected his power and speed.He really shouldn't move up to 147
