This fight certainly makes up for the boring disgrace that was Rigo vs Donaire.

We all know Khan isn't elite, so anybody who makes that claim is highly unoriginal. What he is however is exciting and puts on a show. That's what counts.

great fight, khan definitely won the fight, the good thing about the fight was that the rounds were decisive, you can tell who won which easily

diaz had the wrong game plan, he gave away the first 5 out of 6 rounds

I had Khan by 1 point. He got the W, so mission accomplished in 1 sense. But he didnt look good - his chin is terrible. C grade, he does that puppet dance if he is grazed on the chin and a good shot shows him the canvass.

Plus side is the speed and movement, and he fought smart for a few rounds after getting tagged. His power seems down relative to before. He wont cut the mustard against elite guys who can punch. Take nothing from Diaz, he fought a good fight and showed all his experience.

No amount of building up Julio Diaz can justify the fact that Julio Diaz hurt Khan so bad so many times.

At 147 he gets killed by big punchers. i see no reason why he deserves a rematch with Garcia or Peterson.

          Imagine Matthysse!
Diaz was even a gentleman -- he step off in the 12th... In case Diaz kept the pressure Khan would have lost the fight.

Anyway, Khan psychologically lost this fight and has no future in the elite...

absolutely no difference than when khan was under roach. the problem is not the trainer, the problem is with Khan and his glass chin

How can Golden Boy justify Khan as the "prize" of the tourney?

He's clearly been broken by Garcia. On what grounds?

I know Oscar is a snake salesman, but even he has to do a double take. How do you promote this guy above Garcia, Matthyssee, and Peterson? its not even a sound business decision. Khan is one left hook away from retiring permanently.

Its one of those fights that I would say khan won the boxing match but would have taken a loss if the same fight was staged on the street.

I think he did edge it on point but got more beat up than diaz in the process and this will **** with his head when going in with peterson, matthysse or garcia.

Now that i think of it even molina landed on him just not with any power.

Better or worse, he's a big name and sells tickets. Boxing is a business.

Not the same Khan we saw against Paulie, Judah, or Maidana. There is a lot of wear and tear on Khan now after that Garcia KO and I don't think Virgil is a good trainer for Khan. I've always said that Khan would do best under Floyd Snr. as oppose to Virgil because he would show Khan how to move his head properly. Apart from Khan losing focus he's still standing straight up after he throws punches which is the main thing he needed to change. I have given it 2 fights now and I have seen "0" improvement in Khan outside of throwing less punches and being more reserve which imo makes him even more ineffective and vulnerable.. Khan doesn't need to be more reserve he needs to move his F'n head!
