It can still be rated 10-8 without knockdown.... Depends just how one sided the round was.

Why not reward the better guy for beating the **** out of him? Some of these guys would be getting stopped on their feet with a different ref, or in other guy's hometown. If it's that bad, why not give credit to the better guy?

Taking the knee will only buy you 15 seconds. That doesn't buy you much, most of these rounds involve protracted punishment. If you wanted to get around it, you'd be taking 8 knees a round.
