Going Bankrupt doesn't mean that you are broke. I heard that this is something that fighters do to get out of contracts with promoters. I'm not completely knowledgeable on the subject but basically once the fighter files bankruptcy they no longer have to pay their promoters what they are owed so they can go out look an look for more lucrative deals elsewhere. I know that a lot of people like to bash vivian harris because of his big mouth, but the same folks felt the same way about tarver until he backed his **** up by cleaning jones clock. Hopkins also talked his way out of a lot of money in the past because he knew his worth and did all he could to not take any shorts, now he has alignd his self with de la hoya and is about to get paid...Harris may do the same...

Refresh my memory, which Jones conqueror proved to be better last December? Was it the big-mouthed ****? Or the humble warrior who didn't sit back and relax when he finally accomplished something big? To be honest, I really like Harris. But Tarver's a urethra.

The best thing for Harris to do from here is either Cotto if Tzyu wins in June, or Hatton if he pulls off the upset. Both those guys should be given a decent chance to beat him, but regardless, they're the best matches for him. He's just too unknown to take on anyone else and make a ****load of money. Cept mebbe Gatti or Mayweather, and they're otherwise engaged.

That something i havent looked at, i'll believe your right and he was mandatory for a long time.

IMO Cotto has taken fights against dangerous punchers and strong durable fighters, Harris hasnt fought anyone who's a real threat. thats why i consider Cotto career slighty more progressed.

When was Cotto mandatory?
