What is the soonest any boxer today can fight again?

I know back in the day boxers fought weekly, but today how soon can a professional get back in the ring?

Bonus question: Can you cite on modern boxer who has had a quick turnaround on his next fight? And how did he/she do?

Hmmm. Lets say fight in Jan. takes off few trains and fights again in May . Then break and trains and fight In September . Then takes off and trains and starts it again in jan. 3 a year . 4 if they really wanted to . Depends on competition and any fight injuries that can occur but 3 is very possible , 2 is lazy 1 is Floyd Mayweather self explanatory .

Yeah Ishida was a shoker. Had no idea it was kirkland's 3rd fight in about a month.

Actually I'm kinda shocked there are a few very recent examples of fighting again so close to the last fight. Arreola who would have thought it.
