Just a disgrace... either move up in weight or make the weight.
Definitely a disgrace, and terrible. But IMO the worst thing you can do in boxing is fail a drug test for using banned substance.

The fact that more and more guys are missing weight and we just say oh well "it happens" in modern boxing is not an excuse, is an indictment!

Sure hes not as blatant as skeletor Chavez, but Quillin's already a huge guy at the weight, so presumably he finds it tough to sweat down to make it, when he's losing 1.5lbs in less than an hour, dry is a problem!

Team Garcia is on that gay tip for having seperate weigh-ins. The weigh-in is one of the best parts of the fight build-up. Seems like Zab is in Danny's head.

Quillin said that he had to lose 4 lbs the morning of the weigh in

He has not fought for a while. Maybe its hard to make weight when you find out its getting more difficult as you get older. It can be a suprise sometimes when you had a long break. He looks to be in great shape and he managed to shred the extra weight.

Who's missing weight lately? Besides this has happened for a hundred years.

Even Bernard Hopkins came in over weight against Pascal and he never does that. Happens to the best of them. As long as they make weight no worries.

wow. i really didn't think quillin would look that drawn at 160 lbs for a few years. this isn't good. he looks a bit drained in that shot, and he's only at the begginning stages of his prime.

he'll get bodied at 168. he better get his diet right or he'll be doing himself a real disservice at 168 lbs. i can't see him beating top 168 lbers. froch, ward, kessler, would all body him.

loading gloves or tampering with them is the worst, IMO. it's all bad, though. steroids / blood doping can allow you to punish a man more.
