Is Ruben talking about his fight vs Sr or his son vs Floyd? Cause vs Sr he could get away with it. But if he's talking about his son then I don't think I ever seen not using the jab go well.

Guerrero was able to pin and hold Berto against the ropes who is much stronger and bigger than Floyd. You think Floyd is going to fair better than Berto? Guerrero will uses his strength and size to wear Floyd down over the course of the fight and then try to KO after round 7 or 8.

YEah, especially when Guerrero himself already said that they have several plans for this fight, he will switch it up as Floyd starts to adapt. Rueben is just putting a smoke screen out there. At times, the Ghost will uses his size to tire Floyd but at other times he will focus on the straight left setting it up with the jab. The Ghost has a very good 1-2, I expect him to lull Floyd into seeing one thing and then pulling out something completely different on a whim.

What Floyd fights have you looked at? Where do you guys come up with this stuff? Either you guys really can't stand Floyd or you're not boxing fans. In the sport of boxing you have many different styles. I along with many true fans happen to appreciate all of the styles boxing has to offer.
I'm not sure if you've noticed or not, but Floyd can change his style up during the fight. When Floyd boxes the socks off of his opponent you all say that he's running. When he stands in the pocket and trades and starts walking his opponent down you say he lost his legs. When he fights his mandatory then you say he's ducking someone else.
Will you all give it a rest. Appreciate the man's greatness and what he has done for the sport. Along with Pac, Martinez, Cotto, Alvarez, and the Klits. People are so willing to hate on someone rather than appreciate their greatness and what they do for the sport. Hell, I don't like Kobe Bryant, but the guy can flat out ball. I can't take that away from.

hmmmmm..... although i agree they need to bumrush and take floyd into deep waters, not using a jab is ridiculous.

floyd's inside game is good, he is no james toney, but floyd can duck/roll any wild shots from robert on the inside. floyd made cotto miss countless times on the inside. same with oscar.

im not questioning robert's skill in phonebooth fighting, he needs to keep calm and out-hustle floyd with his workrate. period.

guerreros success in this fight depends on who the ref is. he got away with alot of dirty tactics against berto that he wont against floyd. he certainly wont get away with 25 punches after the bell anyway! id imagine floyd will outbox him, but guerrero might have his moments aswell. guerrero will need to use the jab to set up other shots so he would be crazy not to use it.
