Why dont more boxer try to box like Ricardo Lopez?

      I think they like Finito because he was undefeated and rarely got roughed up in a fight, he made it look like his fights were not even competitive and he would dominate a lot by technical skilled knockouts.

        If we're talking about pure skill alone and not career, ricardo lopez is arguably number 1 for greatest Mexican boxers. He's a better version of jmm. Doesn't sacrifice defense to counter.

            If I'm not mistaken even the elder Mayweathers said Ricardo was great. Correct me if I'm wrong.

                  Textbook is a deceptive term. Very few fighters can actually fight in a textbook style effectively. Its rather rigid and unnatural for most. Obviously not Finito and JMM.
