Canelo vs Cotto is a **** fight and only for someone who either wants to get off on Canelo beating up on a shot washed up Cotto or a delusional Cotto fan who thinks he still has something in the tank.
I'd rather see Floyd fight the Peterson/Lucas winner or Garcia if he beats Judah handily before Alexander. Had Devon dominated Brook, giving him 3 wins at the weight and a title, I would have been alright with it I guess. But after beating Purdy.....I don't think so.
Mayweather opponents usually are coming off wins they looked good in or high profile fights.
Mosley had dominated Margarito, Ortiz beat Berto, Cotto git his revenge on a high profile PPV against Margarito, and Guerrero beat Berto. Alexander beating Purdy wouldn't fit this.
Yeah I am cool with him fighting Garcia or the Matthysse vs Peterson winner I hope its Matthysse though. I would be cool with him fighting either Matts or Garcia.
