If floyd does fight it will be against a much less caliber opponent like Garcia or Alexander

Canelo should look ahead. I want to see him against the Molina/ishe winner (to win the IBF belt). Or the Lara/Angulo winner.

No body beats Canelo at this point.
The WBC will refuse to sanction an IBF title fight

i'd love to see him face the angulo/lara or molina/smith winner, but if i had to say i'd go with cotto. it makes more money than any of the other guys i mentioned, so why not. i also don't think mayweather/alvarez will be happening anytime soon. just don't see it happening for some reason.

who is demetrius andrade promoted by? cause he's fighting baysangurov for the wbo title. if he's the real deal, he should be a titleholder on july 6th. he'll be an interesting addition to the 154 lb division. but yeah, i think alvarez fights cotto next. it'd be sick if he and gbp would consider a martinez fight, but i think martinez has a couple fights left with hbo so that's out of the question.

I can see him getting beat by Lara and Molina unless he ups his game or pays out more for the judges. Just as I see Trout-Canelo 2 a mix up. Those are some fantastic match ups.

Also I find it ironic that you argue Floyd isn't one for fighting the best, yet Canelo has been champion for years yet only has just stood up to a legit opponent.

If you have an agenda at least hide it

Both money and resume standpoint: Cotto.

Mayweather even moreso. Mayweather is Money and resume on steroids. But Canelo won't beat Mayweather. Better off beating Cotto first, then losing ot Mayweather and continuing his career from there. Fight Trout again, maybe a Cotto rematch depending how close their potential first encounter would be. Lara sounds like a very good, tough fight, but I don't know ig GBP would go that route. Haymon and GBP have a good working relationship, so Haymon could get Lara the Canelo fight.

A Cotto fight in sep. will give Canelo more rounds and more experiences to be an unbeatable force at JM, I give him 2 more years at JM before he moves up to MW and cleans that division too, a Chavez Jr fight Wong happen for another 2 to 3 years and it will probably happen at SMW or at a 164 Catch weight.
