If you have watched any of Floyd's fights you would know the guys doesn't even need a corner man. Sure a cut man has to be there just in case, but far as someone telling him what's working & not working, the guy see's all of that anyway. I notice before Floyd was a household name how much ring knowledge he had. So even if his father was giving him the wrong info I think the guy would know it & adjust without being told......

That whole rant was irrelevant though. People tend to go for the jugular in a fierce argument, so Floyd hit him low there. Even when they were on the outs he always praised his dad as a trainer. And it's always been clear, to me at least, that he values his father's opinion while training and during fights (even when Sr. Is yelling from a floor seat).

They do damage. Robert doesn't have that snap to his jab. The only way he's going to damage Mayweather is if he uses his thumb like he did against Berto.
my thoughts as well. the commentators were up in arms about floyds bloody nose. the ghost has been trying to land this fight for a few years, his reason is not that he thinks he can beat floyd, but the huge pay off that comes with fighting floyd. i dont blame him at all.

i never understood the term pot shot. boxing is called the sweet science for a reason. the foot work and body movement is designed to put the opposition in position to get punched or avoid a punch. some of the comments reveal to me that some posters have never laced up a pair and got in the ring. there is no one in boxing that works harder outside the ring than floyd. not many fighters will get up at 3am and go to the gym or go running. and you cannot become 47-0 by "pot shotting" some times the situation calls for a check hoot or a pull counter or a 3 punch combo. floyd has fought every style and has the antidote to ever style.

im sorry but you just sound very angry that pac was sent down the giant slide by a jmm right. that would be his 3rd str8 loss if you include the 3rd jmm fight. and you can say what you want but cotto is a champ and floyd fought him at 154. which pac wanted him to drop down to 147 so he would be wt drained AGAIN. the cotto that fought floyd would ko on his stomach man aka pac.
