How? I admit he did a better gate. Getting him off the Cotto win helped Trout's popularity though and selling it as a fight. Switch it around and it would have been the same.

My mistake, I didn't read properly I thought he was talking about Canelo-Trout doing 1.4. That only peaked at around 1.1 to 1.2, I posted the Cotto figure.

He did do a much higher gate though, even with the cheaper tickets.
