Mayweather destroying Gatti. Lewis did beat Tyson's ass too. I wouldn't say Trinidad-Wright cuz Winky just completely dominated him didn't destroy him. That fight went the full 12.

Vitali slapping around Danny Williams and Calzaghe doing likewise to Jeff Lacy were pretty damn one sided. That was a 12 round whupping.

Julio Ceasar Chevez vs. Medrick Taylor

I know that Taylor was getting off a lot of punches in the first 5 or 6 rounds, but they weren't affecting Chevez.

And actually the entire fight Chevez was landing hard punches the entire fight. From the first round, he was trading one for three, but it caught up with Taylor.

Have you ever seen such a young talented fighter just get the boxing taken out of him in a bout? The kid was dominant, quick, agile, and could punch. And after that fight, he just wasn't.

That fight was the most one sided but you are right how it affected Taylor, He was never the same and only won another title on talent alone.

this thread is about one-sided beatings, not bad physical beatings in competitive bouts.

taylor wasn't the same but he still had some success afterwards. the way he fought, he was bound to have a relatively short career at the top, but chavez really made it short.

roberto duran's beatdown of davey moore deserves mention, and moore was probably more ruined from duran than meldrick from j.c.c.

This fight was NOT completely one-sided. Watch it again.
