They would like to eventually have Khan fight Mayweather. I posted in that thread yesterday or the day before (whichever it was) that one of Mayweather's next 5 opponents will be the winner of that tournament (if Mayweather sees it through as he says he will). GBP knows that Khan can't make it through the tourney unscathed if he had to fight Matthysse or Peterson as one of his first fights.

They are hoping that by the time the final rolls around, he will be mentally prepared enough to take on the other guy who sees it through. It's just about money and they know a Khan-Mayweather fight pulls in more that a Mayweather Matthysse, Mayweather-Peterson fight or a Mayweather-Garcia fight.

I agree with el angel but I think it's funny he does all Danny's talking for him. What is he gonna say in Danny-boy's defense if Judah sparks him out?

Not hating on Khan, but the "all roads lead to Khan" plan is ridiculous. He got KTFO by last good 140. I believe he is still a top 140 obviously but he shouldn't be classed as the top dog.

I disagree. If Lucas or Garcia has a very impressive fight it will attract fans especially if they win, fight each other and it turns out to be a good fight.

I gotta disagree with Angel here. Having Khan as the top spot is great for whoever he faces at the end of the tourney. Khan fills in the seats and brings the money, the winner KO's him and gets a great payday. What's not to like about it?

Angel is smart. He is already laying the ground work to fight Khan before his son has to fight Lucas, should Lucas win against Peterson.
