It's remarkable that over 20 years ago, a boxing purse could be so high @ $32 million. After adjusting for inflation that purse would be roughly $57 million in today's dollars (source:http://www.usinflationcalculator.com/). I guess it goes to show how much more popular boxing was back then.
Another notable observation is that Holyfield make $8 million for the Douglas fight in 1990 and, now, over twenty years later - he's ****in broke..Comment
