Have you travelled outside of the US? Americans get a TON of respect wherever they go. Whether its to a 3rd world Asian or African countries or to the middle east in the land of the ******s they get major respect just cause of there passport alone. This whole "the World hates the US" is a big misconception and couldn't be any further from the truth.

Angel is just a flat out racist... Period.

Because it was the fight that everyone came for, it was the event EVERYBODY there wanted to see, therefore the main event. It wasnt an HBO card either, they were simply televising it.

Well I don't think anyone here can speak for all Americans, so I wouldn't say that. What's obvious is that Angel has had some bad experiences traveling outside the U.S, this isn't even the first time he brought it up as he's been vocal about it, does it excuse his ignorance? Of course not. I don't even know why you would ask me that, you'd think it was enough to say "his words" twice, and yes I have but that's irrelevant.

^This right here. It was a historic event for boxing and for China. HBO has no love for American fighters? Floyd Mayweather, Tim Bradley, Brandon Rios, Nonito Donaire, Andre Ward, Chad Dawson, Bernard Hopkins, James Kirkland, Adrien Broner, Andre Berto? HBO made all these guys rich. HBO didn't want Garcia/Morales II because it was a shit fight that nobody wanted except Erik Morales.

I hope you meant "mohammad atta", beacuse "daniel attah" is actually a pro boxer that fought Nate, Freitas, Antillon, etc........lol

Here's a little known fact..on HBO your son would've been forced to take on a legit contender by now.
If its true that HBO wouldve forced Garcia to fight a live-dog by now then explain Broner's competition or lack of on HBO.

                Couple points

                1. HBO merely televised/distributed the show to American audiences. Everything else was paid for by TR

                2. Fight was held in China. None of them dudes know or care who Estrada/Viloria/Rocky were and are, they came for Shimou. The event was surrounding him. Those championship fights were merely filler until Zou came onto the stage

                3. His purse, as it relates to point #2 is completely fair. That entire stadium came out to support Zou, nobody else. Since he has the biggest d*ck on that stage, he gets the lion's share. How can you justify paying Viloria more $ in a country where nobody cares that he's alive over the guy, regardless of where he's at in his career, they all want to see.

                4. If some American olympian garnered so much attention for a four or six round fight, where TR/GBP are forced to give him TV time, they'd be paid accordingly. I mean take Canelo for instance, even at a tender age, the crowds came for him, he deserves whatever he gets paid because at the end of the day, they're coming for him. You get paid in this sport by the number of eyes you attract, not because you wear certain colors of a flag.

Where will Broner be fighting next? Not HBO!! Showtime..and he's fighting Malignaggi..just leapfrog all of 140 to take on the easiest fight he can..many of the people he leap frogged at 140 would beat the piss out of Paulie. GBP didn't and will not put him up against Garcia either, see how they've both started that "Oh we have a ton or respect for him" bullshhh. It was also publicly stated that HBO was adamantly against letting him fight Gavin Rees but GBP forced their hand...only to up and leave anyway.

He's telling the truth, thats why there will no American that are capable of being the face of boxing. It sucks cause my favorite fighter is Roy Jones Jr, he's the last boxing hype that is American.

Pac is still the face of boxing, after him, it's probably Canelo. We need to get more Americans to watch boxing before it heads to Asian and crap.
