Is Marquez a draw or not?

Alright, let's establish this now... is he a draw or not?
Let's get the obvious out of the way. His three biggest PPV's were against the top sellers in the sport, averaging over a million each time.

    1 million
    1.3 million
    1.15 million

I think those are the numbers.

Also, when people were making a case for Marquez to be given a 50/50 split, a point that those in favor of Marquez brought up was most of those buys came from him or he was the reason and it wouldn't have sold that much without him.

So if Marquez can only bring, as some people have stated, 100k buys in, is he a draw or not in this sport?

He's a great b-side just like Mosley, on his own the PPV's don't really sell. Bradley isn't even a good b-side so those numbers are going to be interesting.

He has never sold well on his own. I think everyone respects his skills but most aren't really impressed by his personality or his story so yes he makes a good b side but he's not a headliner

Marquez is a great opponent but no he's not the draw, Mayweather could fight anyone on the planet and draw more than Marquez, that don't mean much other than Mayweather is a special draw.

I immediately thought of Mosley and agree with you.

edit: He's a draw in Mexico though.

I think it remains to be seen! Prior to the 3rd and 4th pac fight I would say no not at all. But I think people are gonna be suprised how well the marquez Bradley fight does on PPV.
