Azumah Nelson, Greg Haugen and Jorge Paez are 3 of my favorites.

Chavez was a good fight too considering the level of competition.

The Hurtado definitely showed that Whitaker could be a puncher if he needed a big KO, and he needed that Ko since he was losing badly on the cards. Most importantly, it preseved the big payday with DLH.

The Hurtado fight is my favorite, but best performance from start to finish I'd go with the Azumah Nelson fight. That was a great fight and performance by Whitaker.

Hurtado was great because with his lack of KO power, nobody in their right mind would have ever imagined him scoring a devastating come from behind KO late in a fight.

He showed a dimension that most hadn't seen before.

He gave Buddy McGirt a beating in their second fight.
