Could Guerrero at least drop Mayweather?

Ok, so as we all saw in the Cotto fight, Money May doesn't have the legs to be as mobile as he used to be which is perfectly understandable. I don't think he "chose" to fight Cotto toe-to-toe.

Do you think Robert could smother Floyd enough and corner him to at least drop him? I could see it happening and Floyd still getting up to getting a UD win.

    Your thoughts?

I don't see it, unless we see a completely different Mayweather to be honest. I respect Guerrero as a fighter and think he's a tough guy. What he's accomplished to get this fight is nothing short of amazing considering the weight he came from.

I just think Mayweather is too skilled and too smart for him. Guerrero will try and make it a rough fight and that's going to motivate Floyd even more. One thing I can say about Floyd is that he's got a lot of heart, when you push him he pushes back 10X harder.

I don't see Guerrero getting a knock down, I see him getting stopped in the late rounds from the beating he will take.

Anyone could get dropped at any time. Floyd's big shots that he's taken, aside from Mosley, have come against southpaws. Corley and Judah notably. That being said, Berto doesn't have a bad chin, he always gets up and fights back, but he doesn't seem to have as sturdy a chin as Mayweather. I think Mayweather's chin is underrated, and he's already hard enough to hit clean.

What did Ortiz hit him with in 4 rounds, maybe 3-4 clean and good shots??? Mosley hit him with two good shots basically the whole fight. Cotto landed body shots and jabs, nothing real big at all.

It's hard to see Guerrero knocking him down but anything is possible.

Guerrero is a cherry picked opponent. He is by no means a puncher.

I think he can Knockdown Mayweather but it'll will probably be because of foot stomping/tripping.

At this stage of Mayweather's career where he was almost taken out by Mosley, and was hit more frequent than usual against Cotto, a 36 yr old Floyd getting knocked down isn't something that would shock me today.
