Of course Rios gets the fight. First, he's coming off a big loss just like Margarito was and Mosely was when Pacquiao fought them. Secondly, Rios is perfect for Pacuiaos style, someone who cant box or move but just wants to stand still and slug it out, this is ala Margarito all over again....
The Pac...tar...ds ought to feel ashamed for this fight. We know Pacquiao can beat a stationary punching bag who occassionally punches back, but he cant beat a good counter puncher who can box and outthink him....2 thumbs down for Pacquiao vs. Rios...........

Look at JMM's face before and after that lucky punch... Can you explain when you said Manny can't box a counter puncher style? JMM won't get that famed without Pacquiao. Ofcourse, if you fight one of the best then after that if you look fine or good then everybody should talk about you.

Don't misconstrue my comment, but Pac is gonna retire Rios. He's gonna come out of that fight a babbling vegetable. I'm not even sure I would want to watch the beat down he is going to take... Rios is gonna be beaten to pulp. He doesn't have the speed, reflexes, or timing to land on Pac. Nor does he have the footwork or head movement or inclination for defense to keep himself from getting hit. Pac's gonna take angles and pummel Rios like he did Margarito. It's gonna be sickening. Think how easily ALVARADO (for christ's sake) was able to land on Rios. This is gonna be a one-sided beat down to appease the masses who only want to see blood and big, concussive blows. If this happens, Rios will leave with his brain scrambled. It's gonna be ugly. I don't wanna see it.

I myself so much agree with you.... Perhaps, Pac should just go up in weight & fight Martinez for a ninth Division champ.

Are you kidding me?????? For all the guys Pacquaio has fought, and they hedge he is shot and ask him to choose between Rios & Alvarado is ****** for both Rios and Alvarado's career. I SAY Alvarado fight Pacquiao, and Rios fight Prov. Manny will carve up Alvarado and stop him inside 5 rounds, no question. Beating Rios doesn't warrant you stepping up to fight a Manny Pacquiao, but if you're so misled, then have at it. For the BEATING Prov put on Bradley, I would LOVE to see him knock Rios into NeverNeverland.

Rios is a ****** fighter, but loves to fight, stands right in front of you, can't move, won't move... which is why he got beat so easily by Alvarado. Let Rios stand in front of Provo, just as Tim Bradley did, and see what happens. Then after Pacquaio destroys Alvarado in 5 rounds or less, let Alvarado fight Provo.... I want to see Provo fight again and soon. He's a warrior, got screwed in the decision with Bradley... he needs to stay active!
