Still not sure about Cleverly, he doesn't seem to be getting...BETTER! The more and more I see him the less I am coming impressed with him
I just don't see it...YET! It is some talent their no doubt but it is some many flaws, right now I think B-Hop would destroy him mentally and physically like he did Pavlik

Clev is 26...he has plenty of time to fight elite guys.
Would love to see him fight Bute.

If you are a world champion, you fight the best you can find, you don't hide in Wales defending against nobodies for 10 years and then come out and fight one good fighter to eclipse all those years of rubbishness. That's the resume of a regional champion.

Like I've already said he's not going around saying he's a world beater.

Cleverly is not just a bad broken record but a straight up liar. He only calls people out in the press, behind the scenes as everyone can tell now, he does not want to unify! The Shumenov camp sent them for the last and final time in November of 2012 a letter of intent to sign and as expected, THEY RAN AND DISAPPEARED! They won't deal with them anymore as Warren and Cleverly have shown to be full of crap and liars. No one pays attention to what he says in the media anymore as he has proven time and again that he is a hypocrite! Everyone knows that you can get an exempt to fight your mandatory to unify so he obviously thinks everyone is ****** that listens to his straight up bs and lies!

Like I've already said he's not going around saying he's a world beater and is curious himself to see how he does against the elite guys but he's saying the right things and is looking for the big fights and I genuinely believe he's not far off from getting his shot. But as I've said before I've noticed that he gets a lot hate on NSB for things that are out of his control.Last edited by komodo; 04-23-2013, 12:00 PM.

I don't see the point you're trying to make Cleverly has fought ranked opposition for a number of years now.

The LHW division isnt exactly stacked with world class fighters. He could at least fight someone in the top 10.

His choice of opponents are indefensible actually bordering on embarrassing.
Mohammedi, Kuziemski, Hawk, Karpency, Krasniqi.
Anyway Mohammedi was for the interim WBO belt, Kuziemski came about after both Brahmer and Bellew dropped out. Hawk was another late replacement for Ryan Coyne who was having promotional issues and Kransiqi was his mando.
Like I said he's fought and beat anyone they've put in front of him. He stopped an unbeaten Murat who's facing B-Hop in July. The division isn't exactly stacked but Nathan wants to fight the best. Wait until he goes up against one of the elites before you put the kid on blast.
I blame Warren for him not getting the big fights already but he's been inactive with injuries and other reasons so it's only logical he stays active before he takes a big fight later in the year.
