Broner is at 135 and is only going up to 147 for the paulie belt. Canelo came in the ring at 171 and seemed to get tired late. Canelo in 3 yrs will be at 160 or 168. Broner will be legit 147 at best 154.

Unless they catchweight its hard to see them fighting because of the weight, but it would be an interesting fight.

Definitely don't see this fight happening. And if it does, Canelo will most likely be suffering from weight issues by that time.

sounds like the Martinez Floyd dreamers. Stop it. In 3-5 years there will new big faces that will emerge just like 3-5 years ago canelo and broner were fringe fighters. Plenty of new more reasonable match ups to consider.

Too much of a size differential. Canelo inevitably is going to be a Middleweight, eventually a Super Middleweight. Broner is a Lightweight moving up to his first fight at Welterweight. Broner I think is too small for even 154 and by the time he's filled into Welter I imagine Canelo will be a full Middleweight.

At this point Broner has not beaten anyone on Trouts level to indicate he will competetive with Canelo. Canelo by early stoppage.

I've thought the same thing for some time now. If Canelo moves up to the middle weight division then they will probably fight at 157lb. Assuming both of the fighters keep on winning it will be a huge fight 5 years from now.

Let's say Broner looks good at 147, and weighs somewhere in the 150s for the fight. He probably won't, but let's say he does. Why wouldn't Alvarez at 154 be an option? It's not a likely one, but don't pretend Alvarez hasn't fought welterweights and junior welterweights before.

It would be laughable if Canelo took the fight and lost, Which is possible. Boner would just have like a 15-20 pound disadvantage
