Do you think that maybe Trout believes he lost because..

Canelo's defense and head movement made him miss so much even if he was throwing so much more, yet he himself was getting hit with the harder cleaner punches? Like Kellerman says after the fight which fighter would you rather be? I'd honestly rather be Canelo he came out without a scratch. Yes I believe the scoring was atrocious the fight could have went eitherway its cleaner efective puncing vs volume landed, and Nelo needs to work on his fn stamina!!!

Trout believed that he lost because of the open scoring, it gave him a sense that he was behind big time when actually it was an even fight.

That's like what he said at the press conference he said he always feels like he is behind even if he is doing good. I'm sure being told your behind 8 round doesn't help lol

Open scoring saved Trout. Canelo knew he was ahead on points so he didn't want to risk going for the kill. If it was closed scoring Trout would have been KTFO.

I'd much rather be Canelo if you were to look at the fight that way.

Open scoring saved Trout from being KTFO. Nelo ripped a page from De La Hoya/Trinidad except he did just enough to win.

he knows he lost because Canelo kept picking him off he knew he was getting outboxed
