Opinions Of Floyd vs Canelo/Trout Before and After

Talk about what was your opinion of both Canelo & Trout vs Floyd before there fight and now after. Did it change? Did you think Floyd would beat Canelo but lose to Trout and now think the opposite? Did you think Floyd would beat both but now feel both are too big or just plain too good for Floyd? Was it vice versa? What is your opinion? We can do another one after the Ghost fight even though it will be hard to fully judge since its at WW.

Before, gave Canelo and Trout a good chance. After, give Canelo a much better chance than expected, and Trout a 30-40% chance of beating Floyd.

I think that Canelo has a better shot against Floyd than Trout did, does or ever will have. The improvements that Canelo showed in his head movement and defense were impressive, as I expected him to get tagged a lot more by Trout than what was the case. With Floyd being an orthodox fighter instead of a southpaw like Trout, that will help Canelo in putting hands on Mayweather.

BUT, if Canelo can't put any real hurt on Floyd in the first half of the fight, it'll be game over for him. I was hoping to see some improvement in Canelo's stamina on Saturday, but looks like he still has a long way to go before becoming a complete 12-round fighter. Somebody of Floyd's caliber will take full advantage of that in a fight.

I wouldn't give Trout much of a chance against Floyd, still think Canelo could pose some serious problems for Floyd, but see Floyd being victorious.

Both looked far worse than expected and I'd pick Mayweather against either. Trout was too hesitant and light handed. Canelo got confused and frustrated at times, and reacted poorly to what little pressure Trout put on him. Fighting like that, May might even KO him.
