Vanes KO trout three times with big gloves and head gear...something that I was sure that Canelo will do but instead I had Trout winning a close fight were both fighters were mostly missing in the outside..

Marquez doesn't seem to be very fond of Canelo. This is the second time he seems sour g****s about him. It's sad because Marquez is an ATG/Legend and Canelo is an up and coming superstar. Marquez should instead big his countryman up. Canelo already has a bunch of critics, for his own countryman to do like this, is sad.

But he said nothing bad..he only said the facts that everybody know..

I don't think either one looked like 'crap' on Saturday. Trout used a good jab, was very active, and came to fight in tremendous shape. Canelo, on the other hand, sported some very good duck and dodge defense, and serious power, almost KO'ing Trout (a fighter who had never been knocked down) in the 7th.

Folks just refuse to give this kid credit because he is already a superstar. Alvarez is very good. He is ONLY 22 years old. I hope he keeps getting better and we see some more mega-fights with him in them.

Marquez is right but neither Canelo or Trout stock rose both put on subpar performances I felt Trout won so Canelo still has some work to do to become an elite boxer beating other top 154 pounders like Lara will gain him more credibility

It's true Canelo needs to fight and defeat elite fighters, Pillow puncher Trout was never elite, Sergio Martinez, Erislady Lara, both are in the major leagues of boxing. If ?, I repeat if ? Canelo beats both, then he is the man. Right now, not.

That's a ****** reasoning right there..Rios knock Alvarado out and then he lose the remach..that hapenned thousand of times..is not that Vanes won is that Vanes looked vastly superior..in my opinion Canelo/Vanes is 50/50 since I saw Vanes couldn't land a single shot in Lara fight and was eating the left hand very often in the last couple rounds, he got lucky with the cut, he was about to get KTFO..In my opinion Canelo doesn't win a round against Erislandy Lara...
