Which fight at 154 would start a lineage?

There hasn't been a lineal champion at 154 for a long time.

Canelo won the RING belt, but i'm not sure what it reflects other than an official win over a top 5 light middleweight.

Will Mayweather have to fight for a lineage to be made?

    What about these fights?

    Molina-Mayweather
    Lara-Mayweather
    Canelo-Mayweather
    Lara-Molina

I think a fight between Lara and Mayweather would start a true lineage at 154.

Why Lara? He isn't coming off of any major wins in the division. Clearly Mayweather-Canelo creates a lineage, but that is about it.

Why Mayweather? He has the same resume as Trout at 154

Lara and Molina are solid in the division, and apart from Trout-Canelo, they're the only ones whove fought other 154 contenders.

Actually after thinking, i'd put Molina over Lara, despite not many people mentioning him in the division.

It's hard as noone has really fought eachother yet.
