Saul Canelo Alvarez vs Miguel Cotto .. Who takes it?

I suspect that this will probably be the next fight for both fighters.. Who you think takes it?

Some said Cotto didn't take Trout serious which accounted for the poor performance. Don't know how true that is, if the same Cotto shows up it should probably be a straightforward Canelo win..

Canelo stops him. Cotto just wants one more big pay day before he retires.

honestly this one is venue dependent. Cotto wont fight anywhere else but Roberto Clemente Stadium or MSG before he retires. that you can count on

Cotto is way past it and his style his tailor made to get KO by Canelo

I'd like to see Canelo fight Lara

I agree. I would like to see Canelo get his ass whooped by Lara but you know GBP isn't gonna let their donkey anywhere near Lara

Cotto will lose, but I bet he does far better than most expect. Unless he can't take Alvarez's punches at all, he'll make it tough.

It would be a good fight. Both have shit stamina but Cotto is busier and has a good jab, unlike Trout. Cotto would make Canelo work harder than he ever has, that's for sure.

What the hell can Lara do to Canelo really? This is the same guy that ran from Vanes for 10 rounds. He had his chance on the big stage and he stunk up the joint. If I never see Lara fight again it will be too soon.

Cotto has 2 back-2-back losses, his last loss against Trout. If Canelo fights Cotto its a step backwards IMO.

Yes, Cotto brings big crowds and TV money and is a "name", but you just beat the guy who already beat him and took his belt. What does Canelo get from beating a guy that would have 3 back-2-back losses? He would get slammed.

Time to line up that Floyd fight if possible. That fight makes the most sense for all the fighters that want either legacy or money and makes the most sense for boxing

Cotto would be another massive name on his record. Remember he fought Mosley after he just lost to Pacquiao so it's nothing new. Also Cotto put on a decent performance against Mayweather at 154 so it would be a good measuring stick.
