9 boxing rounds as opposed to 12... Different MMA rules...

I believe if you have less boxing rounds like maybe 9 as opposed to 12 i believe there will be more action and entertainment from the fans. The fighters wont tire as easily, more combinations will be thrown and fight will be fought at a much faster pace. The fans will literally be at the edge of their seats most of the time, than just bored sitting there for 12 rounds. MMA is just as equally boring sometimes, i believe they need to change up the rules as well. They need to give penalties for fighters who literally hug (lay and pray) or just lean on the other against the cage. Im a fan of all forms of combat and i grew up watching all forms of competitions. If there were less rounds like a 3 round k1 fight or a tournament style where fighters fight 3 times a night. Imagine all the fast pace entertaining action the fans would enjoy to watch. Im not saying that they should but they should just take it into consideration. Just my opinion...

this is the ******est shit I ever read.

Championship round is where you see what fighters are made of.

LOL how is that ******? Its just my opinion. I enjoy watching combat sports, i grew up watching it all my life. Im just saying that most people do find these sports boring sometimes, especially the new fans. Like imagine watching a 12 round heavy weight fight, Its sometimes boring and sluggish as hell. Champions can still test their abilities and test their wills when more combinations are being thrown at them at a much faster pace. Its like fighters sprinting the whole way or just running a long slower paced marathon.

Its not mostly about sucking it up, Its how they conserve their energy and explode at the right moment. So imagine fighters who are barely on the offensive during the early or middle rounds or tired during the last. You have to admit the lack of action is sometimes boring and you have to listen to the commentators talk when instead you can see more action. Im not saying you have to agree with me cause this all about debate but just imagine the faster pace sprinting action than the slower jogging pace

                  Just an awful idea.

Personally, I'd like to see the return of 15 rounds. It's after the 10th round where you usually get to see who's the better man both physically and mentally. Didn't people still weigh in on the same day when it was reduced to 12 rounds? Now that fighters have 24 hours+ to hydrate, I wouldn't imagine that there'd be as big of a health risk because you're not going in there completely drained.

Bring back 15 round fights, I say!

All you people are classic boxing fans, including myself. But everyone has to realize the spotlight of boxing is somewhat going downhill. I just thought this approach would shed light back to boxing not bore the new spectators.
