we will all see if floyd is losing his step

just the inactivity alone will be shown in this upcoming fight with the ghost... floyd is gonna sit in his shell and try potshotting guerrero and not move around that much because his legs aren,t the same as when he was younger... i just have one thing to say and if floyd gets really tagged a lot in this fight and somehow gets the victory then i can see him probably retiring just because he,s starting to get hit more and more... because there,s no way in hell floyds gonna fight 5 or 6 more times within a 2 or 3 year period... if he gets beat up i say he retires... comments????

Floyds getting older , it happened to Ali the same , I remember when they were all saying Alis legs were shot and he came out and danced for 12 rounds .

Floyd might have tougher fights these days but thats a natural progression , I think he is smart enough to say when he dont have enough to win and walk away from the ring .

Whats annoying is how a great fighter is sliding and the vultures want to see him in all these unrealistic battles with guys so much bigger just to see him beat , nobody his size can touch him , if I were Floyd Id just totally dominate my division .

Thing I hate about what fighters are saying is "I think Floyd is slowing down, I think he gets hit more" (amir khan, gurrero, roach, dela hoya) WTF man? How can u claim elite & think highly of yourself as a fighter when the only way u can see yourself beating a guy is when he is in "decline"? That's sum real pu$$y ****! And the same goes for Floyd! A true warrior gonna fight man at his peak, the rest of that is for the b1tches

Got to agree, they devalue their own potential victory and make any defeat look worse.

Floyd got hit in the Cotto fight....with jabs and body shots. How many big shots did Floyd really take in that fight, not many.

Floyd used his feet early in the Cotto fight, and late in the fight. Cotto was able to force Floyd to the ropes because he knows how to cut the ring, and was a much bigger man. Even off the ropes though, like Ali sort of, Floyd can fight well off there.

isn't that what Floyd's been doing ever since he moved up from 135?

Floyd got tagged with big shots in the Ortiz and Mosley fights too. He's slowing down, he needs a real trainer again so Sr is back in favour.

He got hit with two shots in the Mosley fight, maybe 1-2 of significance against Ortiz, and some jabs/body shots against Cotto.

That's how good Floyd is. When he gets tagged, people make it out to be some amazing thing. Floyd's no doubt not the same guy he was in 2007, but he's more or less, as of May 2012, the same guy was in the Marquez and Mosley fights.

Is saying nobody his size can beat supposed to be impressive or something? Have you heard of the saying its a weak division? The best the 147 division has to offer is Guerrero at the moment as Floyd avoided Pac like the plague.

But if you only go up one division, there are more worthy challenges. Its not size that pays the bills as Floyd and his fans have said countless times.
Youve got enough threads saying how Floyd will destroy Canelo, and if thats the case, how can you in the same breath say its unrealistic for Floyd to fight Canelo or Sergio at 154?
