Tyson Fury recovered from a second round knockdown to knock out Steve Cunningham in the seventh round of their heavyweight clash at Madison Square Garden. It was only the second time in the Briton's career he had had to pick himself up off the canvas, but he recovered strongly to go 21-0 and set up a final eliminator against Kubrat Pulev - with the winner of that contest to face Wladimir Klitschko.

Cunningham put up a brave effort but in the end fury wore him down and used his superior stamina and inside fighting skills to knock the American out.

at this point wlad makes an easy work out of fury - probably stops him in the middle/late rounds.

fury needs to be a lot better against pulev to win...

If/when the Pulev fight gets made, I'm willing to bet all my points that Pulev beats Fury. Fury doesn't stand a chance against a real, skilled HW like Pulev.

          lol.

Fury is so unskilled it's unbelievable. A mediocre cruiser weight took him to school and was winning the fight!

Okay, I'll give it to Fury, he's improved and his jab especially looked better in the Cunningham fight. But Pulev will school him, mark my words!

Fury would need to show something he never showed before... but if Pulev can beat Fury and possibly Haye, then Pulev-Wlad would be a great one.

I am measuring who will come on top among all these guys and if any of them can give Wlad a competitive fight (at least to some extend).

Dude, Steve didn't look like anything. As soon as the going got tough, he gave up, plain and simple. Cunningham needs to retire.

in all seriousness Fury actually went backwards in this fight, he neglected his jab and was like a rudderless oil tanker, but he got it done.

Hopefully Peter puts him on blast because a lot better is needed from this point.
