How can you throw 300 less punches, land 30 less punches, fight hard for 25-30% of the fight, land 2-3 significant punches a round.....and win the fight clearly???

Seriously....I can't understand what people were watching. Who controlled the pace most all of the rounds, Trout. Even the round he was knocked down, he out fought Canelo the rest of the round.

Trout won this fight on activity, and controlling the pace.

Even Trout admitted Canelo was faster, punch harder,and boxed better, not to mention the knockdown!!

So that's why you think he said he lost? Cmon son...Trout is a man if he thought remotely he won he could've made a stink about the scorecards and 99% of us would've sided with him including Canelo's own fans..regardless of the final tally he lost that fight. He knows it, his fiance knew it, so did apparently everyone else without an agenda.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I read today on the ALA board an article about manny pacquiao eating dog meat. He said that in the sarangani province he is going to stimulate the economy by funding rancher's to harvest dog's for eating for his people. The project will employ many, but still this is sick, and I feel immoral. I am a dog lover myself and cannot believe this man, albeit simple minded and from another part of the world feels that this is a good idea.

Trout came out a bit short. Canelo threw him a wild card and beat him at a game he didn't expect. I'll say this as a mexican fan who feels Trout is the real deal. Canelo showed an angle very few fighters have. How many punchers have come into fights with elusive southpaws and laid an egg> (ex chavez sr, donaire etv). Too many. Canelo showed, that at 22, he's more than that. At 22 DAMN years OLD. This guy could be great. God Damn, It was a close fight but the harder puncher showed that he could fight the defensive fight and do it too. Had Canelo been agressive and only came ahead by those numbers and been knocked down, it wouldn't be a doubt who won. People are judging him based on his previous fights.

Canelo showed a great defense against Trout's MANY missed jabs. And that wicked knockdown was just icing on the cake. Great fight all around from, 2 great fighters.

I thought there were a lot of rounds that could have went either way, but that one judge must of been cut a nice check from Golden boy. Canelo for me this is proof that he is the real deal, and he can box OK too, Cotto better not fight this guy because thats a KO for sure' and I'm a huge Cotto fan but lets face it hes never been the same sense the first Margarito plastering!
