It's actually the opposite. He was very impressive tonight and unlike "Rigo" for example, was very aesthetically pleasing to watch. Either way, you can't qualify your points about someone being boring when you got the Cuban on your avatar.

sorry, Rigo footwork and counter shots MAKE the other opponet stop throwing, Canelo doesn't make his opponent stop throwing with skills, only power and his stamina sucks. I will love the day this guy gets exposed, because when he does he's going to get knocked out and stopped.

I don't think he's boring, but I wasn't impressed with his conditioning or ring generalship (or lack there of). Trout looked even worse, throwing pitty patty arm punches, but he was working at least. I had a very negative experience viewing this fight, I don't know, perhaps I was expecting too much. I'll just attribute it to a bad clash of styles.

both fighters were unimpressive. I overated Trout and underated Canelo, but make no mistake Canelo was not impressive at all. THe guy gassed after 6 rounds and trout could not take advantage at all. Canelo will get smashed up very soon.

This shows me that you're a little emotional about this, and not thinking objectively. I'm not a partisan Canelo fan but I was impressed.

And again, just on the case of Boring Vs Exciting, there is no room for you to talk. Watching Rigo do what he did was painful. If Canelo wasn't throwing punches, then this guy definitely wasn't throwing punches. Hence the boo birds.

Not that I care, I can tolerate any style of fighting. Just don't come in and lecture us about boring if you like what Rigo was doing.

Nah, he didn't look gassed (That one was drilled into your thought process by the fact that Trout's trainer said it in the corner). It seemed like he was conservative by choice. He toyed with Trout occasionally with that defense, and was just generally more focused on the defensive side of things than going for broke against a slick fighter.

Trout didn't look amazing, but Canelo looked worse most of the time. Seriously.

Canelo would land 2-3 real significant punches a round, not punch for half the round, and tried to showboat and make Trout miss, while Trout kept his activity up.

To take off the round like Canelo did in every round, because his stamina is s**t, you need to land a major major game changer to win the round, what he did in the 7th round early on.

Canelo controlled none of the rounds, didn't even throw 40 punches a round, was out landed and than out throws by over 300 punches. Seriously, what the f**k were people watching???
