It's not Canelo's fault, it's his fans. Though the fact remains Trout isn't happy about it. I don't think it'll hurt him though, I think it may infact, help him focus and try to make sure he shuts Canelo down. Fight should be a great one and looks to be that way on paper... we shall see.

Trout already thinks little of Canelo, this is so obvious. He has talked about stepping on the gas late in the fight if it is remotely close to ensure he wins. He has stated that it's solely up to Canelo's chin whether he lose a UD or by KO.

All this says to me that he is underestimating Canelo. Add this fuel to the fire and he will try to bring the heat to the over-matched, under-skilled, young punk who just beat up his friend (or had his "henchmen" beat up his friend) or whatever the case may be.

This is gonna play right into Canelo's hands. A firefight is the exact opposite of what Trout wants this fight to become.
