If it was just like real fighting, it would be boring. In a movie you need every part to be exciting and purposeful. Could you imagine a 3 minute round with Rocky and Clubber lane feeling each other out? lol

It just seems like a motivational movie. I don't think it was meant to show boxing fundamentals for kids or any one.

When I was young it was the best thing since anything, but watching it now I just laugh at how I could have been taken in by some of the storyline but it was fun though.
