Trouts key opponent is still better than Canelo's key opponent

Trouts best known victory was against Miguel Cotto, a fighter that many say are washed up, bloated at 154....

Canelo best known victory is against Shane Mosley, who is in FACT shot to crap.

In the end, Cotto is still 10times more lively than Shane Mosley, Shane Mosley is shot to crap, on a Roy Jones, James Toney type of shot, not a prayer in the world of him winning.

In the end, if anyones more proven, it's Austin Trout, I still think Miguel Cotto beats atlest MAJORITY of 154 fighters or 147 fighters...does Shane Mosley, absolutely not, I got Cano by UD over Shane.

Which is why Trout is supposed to win this fight. He is expected to win this fight. There should be no surprises if he wins. But if he loses...

The opponnents are not fighting each other, the fighters are. You cannot go by opponents or Rigo would never have beaten Donaire and Mosley would never have beaten Oscar and tons of other examples. Whoever wins the fight will not be based on the opponents, it will be based on skills, abilities, and determination.

Pretty much this. I still have Trout winning, but you can't compare a 154 Cotto in 2013 to Canelo.

Resumes don't win fights. This means nothing when they step through the ropes.

If Trout can stay on his feet hes gonna win the fight. Trout has the ability to out work Canelo in a lot of the rounds. Canelo doesnt fight the full 3 minutes in rounds. He relys on his opponent not being able to hang with him blow for blow. Hes not going to out box Trout.

Alvarez is a 2-1 favorite. Trout is the underdog....

                  Good post.

I've stated this before, there are many unanswered questions for both guys, we'll find out tonight.

You know what always troubled me? Pacquiao gets credit for Mosley but the very next fight Canelo doesn't?
