    All are compelling fights in their own right, properly promoted mostly

    Its things like Rigo and Donaire fighting before 3-4K in a city they have no business fighting in. One guy based in Cali, the other based in Miami. Both of those cities have demographics you can appeal to, so naturally...stage it in NYC. Makes real sense /sarcasm.

    Boxing isn't dead, its just that the medium used to show it is dead. This premium cable TV and PPV business is what's killing it.

          They say it was 6,000 and the tickets were very high.

            I'm here in San Antonio and there is buzz all over this place for the fight tonight. People from all over are here to see it.
            I hope your right about the 38k crowd, would make for a tremendous atmosphere.
            Seems like everyone i talk to has plans to go to the fight tonight.
