Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the alleged Boston Marathon bomber who was killed Thursday night, was once an amateur boxer who represented the New England regional team as a 201-pound heavyweight in the National Golden Gloves.

BoxingScene.com/CSNBayArea.com spoke to two of his teammates who participated with Tsarnaev during that tournament, as well as a third boxer who interacted with Tsarnaev when he trained at the Boston Boxing & Fitness gym in Brighton, Mass.

Very sad. R.I.P to that little boy and all the victims of the bombings and much respect to the cops that put their life on the line.

With that being said, why does everyone keep saying he did it because he's ****** or because "god told him to"..... Really? That's just being ignorant. NO ONE knows what made him do it and your assumptions are not fact.


Thats like me saying the Sandy Hook shooting happened because the shooter was atheist.

Or Christopher Dorner shot up the LAPD, because he's Christian.

Those were acts of domestic terror JUST LIKE this, yet no one mentions their religion or ethnicity. So why are you all so quick to say "he did this because he's ******"


If he automatically did this because he's ****** and "god told him to" then Christopjer Dorner killed those cops because he was a Christian and "god told him to" as well. Also the kid who shot up sandy hook killed those poor little children because he doesn't believe in god at all, and his lack of god in his life made him do it.

See what I just did? This kid could very well just been crazy, psychotic and delusional without having his religion or having "god tell him" to do any of this..... Smh
