That kid had no business in there with Fortuna, and Fortuna came out swinging like a bat outta hell because he knew he wasn't in top shape.

I'm already starting to dislike this dude, and I can almost bet that people are going to be on his sack, like they were when Matthysse knocked out Mike Dallas Jr. in the 1st round.

I mean c'mon, it was Mike Dallas Jr for christ's sake. Fortuna looked like hot garbage in the Hyland fight, and he's sure to get floored in the near future. Tired of these hype jobs out here...

Maybe you need to dislike the fans but why would you start to dislike Fortuna for doing what he loves to do? And I'm pretty sure he is not the one picking his opponents either so hating on him is a bit ignorant if you ask me. But who knows maybe you are right or maybe you are wrong because if the wants to he can also box very well. There is a reason why he won over 300 amateur fights and barely lost any.
As for the fight against Hyland...c'mon man you and I both know that had a lot to do with Hyland and not exactly Fortuna. Also, I think Fortuna is really being drained by fighting at 126lbs. Well, my two cents.

yes please Russell v fortuna I think is the most best fight to be made in the division. Two young guns, john's not fighting either and both have the label as being overhyped. Personally Russell jr. is one of my 5 faves not only because he's a dc area product but he is a surgeon with these bums. I'd love to see him tested and I think this is the time. That being said I think bc both fighters are brutally ko'ing people, I think promoters allow this to go on for another year to build up the highlight reels before they're pitted together.

Who said Fortuna was out of shape? Or maybe he's at a weight he shouldn't be in? And you starting to dislike him exactly why? How many threads do you see of him on page 1?
