I was surprised Alvarez didn't do more damage to Mosely. Also, surprised how many shots Mosely was able to land himself. I can't believe someone brought up the Gatti fight as proof Mayweather doesn't hit hard. KO is one thing but when you beat someone into submission that's a whole other thing. I didn't see Gatti complaining about the stoppage when they were prying the mouthpiece out of his mouth.

I havent read the whole thread but people seem to be completely disregarding the fact that Mayweather is much faster than Canelo. How hard someone hits is a combination of speed and weight (or mass if you wanna be really scientific bout it).

Canelo may have heavier hands than Mayweather and is overall a bigger dude but what Mayweather lacks in comparison to Canelo he makes up BIG time for in speed, which kinda evens out the playing field. So I believe Mosley

Canelo's not a one punch knockout artist.He beats guys through an accumulation of punches so it's possible.Floyd doesn't plant his feet down the way Canelo does and Mayweather's smaller so maybe Mayweather actually hits harder if he plants his feet.
