    Danny Williams

Obviously this Brit isn't a p4p fighter or even a top 5 heavyweight, but what do you guys think of him in general?

after the klitschko fight, i thought he was a pretender. after the williams fight, i think hes just a journeyman, not a contender or a bum. just a journeyman.

I feel sorry for the poor bastard that his one shot at the big time (so far) was against a guy who would be able to take out any existing heavyweight today... including Brewster and Toney... probably).

I've seen a lot of Danny Williams fights and one thing he never is is BORING. The guy's a living highlight reel. Whether it's getting knocked down four times by Klitschko (and not only showing the chin but the BALLS to get back up each time... he was still on his feet when Nady called it off - if only some of the other heavies had a bit of that heart, eh?), decking Kali Meehan in 32 seconds, showboating his domestic titles away to a man he'd KOed twice like a twat or KOing Mark Potter with his right shoulder dislocated the guy's a diva. The ONLY time he's bored me is when they added Tawdry Embarrassin' to his fistic alchemy. Add to this the fact that he's got an extremely fragile psyche and some serious pop and it's all good.

I rate the guy. World Beater? In this climate, maybe. But whether he is or he isn't, I love his big fat ass. All aboard!!!

Danny Williams is certainly no journeyman, he beat a guy in 32 seconds who went 4 rounds with Rahman and the distance with Brewster. Williams has been plagued by not having the right state of mind over the years, and also coming in hugely overweight. As i've said before, a 100% focused and fit Danny Williams is as good as most guys out there. Unfortunatly i think time has passed him by.

Williams is an enigma. He fought Juilus Francis in 1999 for the domestic titles and just stood there at times taking punches. Sure he beat Meehan but Meehan wasn't ready, a mere novice.
Then Samil Sam beat him, and Sam is no world beater.
The Tyson fight he won on pure heart, out hearting Tyson was never a differcult thing and Klitscko was a good heavyweight and Williams really has nothing to be ashamed of in losing.
But even considering Williams' win over Harrison, he has established limitations concerning his mental make up and overall average skills.
