I already can see Trout rocked while he is on the run.

If Trout wins legitimately and gets robbed no one will be surprised

Saint Cinnamon already has a rematch clause in the contract. ****ty part is that Trout doesnt get a re-match if he loses. Good thing he aint gunna lose!!!

Wow, I can´t believe how bias is the " writer " of this column to his fellow countrymen. Whitaker ran and hugged most of the fight, deal with it. He never hurt Chavez. Slapping like a girl is not punching. The ring was too big. Points should have been deducted to Whitaker for excessive hugging, pusging, and running." Slick "? Yeah, right. A coward to me. I want to hear the clowns bark at me....

I see no way Trout wins on the cards. Canelo is just about to break out huge outside of Mexico. If Canelo loses on the cards its great sign for boxing. I dont think there is another fighter that will be protected from a loss more then Canelo. He's prime and still on the upswing. Trout has an amazing chace of getting robbed here. Im concerned he fights too aggressive knowing he cant win on the cards which could lead to him getting caught.

That's true, but regardless the official judges saw that fight to be a draw and that's what it was and it'll remain that way forever.

In fact, I've seen Canelo landing combos on his opponent with his leading left hand so fast that the guy in front of him couldn't even hit back...
I also saw Canelo countering like hell with his left hook...
Canelo is not that hyped... Excuse me.

STFU, maricon. Cotto is not better than Canelo. Cotto was afraid of Canelo that´s why he fought Trout but his plans were ruined.

Two undefeated fighters, both with belts in tow, in what has often since the 1980s been one of boxing’s glamour divisions.

There are expected to be close to 40,000 butts in the seats.

                      It’s not on pay-per-view (Showtime, 10 PM EST/PST).

The Jr. Middleweight unification clash between WBC titlist Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KO) and WBA titlist Austin “No Doubt” Trout (26-0, 14 KO) at the Alamodome in San Antonio has all the makings. Both men are in their 20’s, Alvarez 22 and Trout 27. They’ve each had just enough seasoning to suggest bigger things while lacking the depth of tests that provides definitive proof of place.

While Floyd Mayweather’s shadow still extends over a division he occasionally flirts with, there will be many who view the victor of this contest as the best fighter active at 154 lbs.

Will the victor and the winner be the same thing?

On Thursday, WBC president Jose Sulaiman posted to Twitter “Yesterday I met (Trout) and had a talk, he is such a nice man. I promised him neutrality in ring official's decisions if the bout goes the long way.”

Isn’t it reassuring that, on the eve of a big fight, one of the sports leading governing officials makes a strong public statement that the fight will be adjudicated fairly?

Not so much, right? It says a lot that boxers need to be reassured that they will get a fair shake. It’s hard to imagine David Stern pulling Kevin Durant aside before the NBA Finals last year to let him know the Oklahoma City Thunder would have impartial officiating against the Miami Heat. Wow !!! 3 Huge boxing weekends in a row !!!

First ,Fury vs Cunningham tomorrow and Canelo vs Trout(so pumped for this fight !!! ) ..great day.

Second, next weekend when Sergio vs Murray and Arreloa vs Steverne. Garcia vs Judah and Kid Chocalte on Showtime too !!! I am disappointed that Wilder vs Fraudley is not on. Be very careful Khan...very careful.

Then it's Money May vs Guerrero on May 4. This fight is awesome but the card is pretty weak. I love Mares and Santa Cruz but they are both in soft.

I would like to see HBO pick-up some of the undercard fights and play them like show extreme is doing. I'd watch Grano vs Molina and there are 2 other fights from Argentina worth watching including Mago fight.
