    He certainly looks heavy here.

Also Timothy Bradley in the Amateurs wasn't he a middleweight? The Vegan diet really helps him stay lean during training camp, but I think he suffers in the power department and those muscles are just show muscles no power at all in those shots, Ruslan man handled him on the inside.
I think he fought at welter in the amateurs, which is 152. Sounds like a lot, but consider they have same day weighin, so his fight night weight hasn't changed that much.

by his own admission, Bradley ballooned up prior to his last fight.

I don't think it's his 'natural' weight though. I read about him being depressed and eating too much after all the criticism he got because of the controversial win against Pac.

Not that I believe everything boxers say, but that's what I read

Yeah, he admitted he was happy that the fight with Pac was at 147 so he didn't have to drain to 140 again, also that he was already cutting weight in advance for the Pacquiao fight and when they announced the fight he was down to like 165, he was on the countdown show looking bulked up and swole. He just trims off the fat during fat camp, he knows how to burn the fat properly, I think he goes on a Vegan diet only for training camps.

He balloons up after fights, I think for his fight with Ruslan he went past 180 he said that he was eating a lot and sad, it could have effect his performance for the Ruslan fight, having to cut that much weight and being inactive is bad, this why I have a feeling when he fights Marquez he will be extra sharp.

There is lots of truth in what you say. Some of the 140 pounders are bigger men than some of the 147 pounders that don't rehydrate after the weigh in because they don't need to. Walking around weight is meaningless because some of these guys walk around fat. I have seen pictures of Bradley at 170 and to me he looked like a muscular guy with lots of fat on him. At 147 Bradley is hard and he was a big 140 pounder when he fought at that weight. Rios likes to eat and walks around fat. 140 is a good weight for Rios I think. Pacquiao could still make 135 and be fine and he can make 140 easily without rehydrating. Mayweather could make 140 but he would need to rehydrate. He is very lean at 147.

I've been saying this for the longest, a lot of these Jr WWs are huge, they would all be solid at 147.

If Floyd moves down to 140 it's a PURE DUCK of the winner of Canelo Vs Trout.

i personally think pacquiao and marquez would do better at 140. and maybe for Floyd also (but imo floyd is a little bigger than the two and has been at 147 for 8 years now. Pacquiao ain't as ripped as he used to be anymore at 147. They're all healthy at 147 but thats not their speed form.

Its not just fat, its bone density, Ricky Hatton was fat, but didn't have the bone density and frame of these other 140 pounders I mentioned. Erik Morales is another example of a bloated small guy he might have weighed 180 but he is not a huge 140 pounder his optimal weight at 126-130, these guys at 140 are actually legit welterweights fighting at 140, I see them at 147 in the future if they fought at 147 it would be the deepest the welterweight division has ever been in a while and it would help boxing big time since the welterweight division is the money division right now.
