I know ruben didnt bring race into the discussion but since he did let me respond by saying black fighters have ruled and dominated boxing in virtually every weight division beginning with Jack Johnson there are no tougher more skilled fighters in any combative sport than black fighters, and that mexican blood didn't matter one bit when pairing the best latin fighters against the best the black race had to offer. Examples: whitaker vs chavez chavez was dominated and pernell was robbed, chavez vs frankie randall randall battered chavez and was clearly on his way to stopping him but he was cheated out of the ko victory, mosley vs margarito utter destruction, mosley vs delahoya 1, broner vs his last three mexican victims, leonard vs benitez, azumah nelson vs wilfredo gomez, leonard vs duran 2-3, hearns vs duran, and the list goes on and on. Every great mexican or latin fighter was eventually dethroned or destroyed by a great black fighter. Below is a whos who of black fighters that have dominated the sport for years in their respective divisions and beyond, black fighters have ruled boxing.

    jack johnson
    ali
    larry holmes
    evander holyfield
    mike tyson
    lennox lewis
    ray robinson
    marvin hagler
    ray leonard
    thomas hearns
    terry norris
    bernard hopkins
    pernell whitaker
    shane mosley
    azumah nelson
    floyd mayweather
    adrienne broner

And I could go on and on there are no tougher more skilled fighters than back fighters 100s of years of history have proven that .

Dont play that game, we can list 100 more latino fighters and only reason blacks had a headstart was cause there fight was filled with darma, being during the civil rights time, so whites wanted to see blacks get beat up, yeah it backfired on them for the most part but that was why their was a abundance of black boxer.

            Lets talk today.

What ethnicity out numbers who in world champions today?

Every race has there turn, I dont appreciate you turning this into a race thing on this thread.

Nothing to do with race....sparring means you can get caught like a fight too. Plus Floyd's getting older.

Good post and I agree. There was absolutely no reason for him to bring that up, but maybe he felt a little insecure or something.

Yeah and it isn't like no one knows about her illness.

That's a big load of dookie. Anglos, blacks, hispanics... plenty of great fighters from all 3. You can twist any 'data' around any way you like, but it won't matter.
