It took Joe a while to get there and a lot of patience. Win Lose or Draw I'm happy for him. I'm bias though I use to teach at the Rock when he was training with AAH.

From what he's saying on instagram, Joe Hanks is very excited about this fight.

          I got Adamek fairly easily

Hanks is okay but he's like a good domestic level guy

In fact that's what American heavyweights lack

We have a good British domestic scene, and a good European scene too

But in America its like your either a bum or a contender and there's no in between

All these guys, Mitchell, Banks, hanks, Scott, Jennings etc would benefit from a good domestic scene inthe states bebecause all of them I feel are going to be lacking when they step up and fight decent experienced contenders

Also why are all these American heavyweight prospects so old?

Heard of 'em, but haven't seen him. What's the scouting report on Hanks?

He turned down Pulev to fight an untested American?

What is Adamek's angle? Is he waiting to get a call for a voluntary defense from Wlad, or is he just ignoring fighting for the title and fighting whoever? Weird.

Anyway, Adamek takes this one. I'd wonder if he'd be down to fight Carr in his next outing; that would probably be a good bout.

He's very fast and can counter punch. The question with him is his mental state specifically his confidence. Joe is talented and this is his oppurtunity to make a name for himself. It's also a tough fight as Adamek is a pretty good boxer himself, in terms of being able to think and lay traps. The power edge goes to Adamek. It's a good match up

He appears to be a good well-rounded fighter, but we can't know for sure until he fights some decent opposition.

He's 6'5" with a long reach and appears to have some power.

Malik Scott is 1 of the best heavyweight in the world. It's a shame that he won't be appreciated because he is a smart pure boxer with boxing skills. Such is this media run state of boxing where it's taboo to fight smart.

I'm glad the contenders are waking up and traveling abroad for sparring. As Malik and a few others are in Russia sparring at the moment. It's a move that has been long over due. Im glad they are taking their time with Deontay Wilder and not putting batteries in his back like other countries do with their still developing hw's. He spars with the best heavies in the world. So the Americans are finally smelling the salt.
