His team are basically saying he isn't ready yet for that level, fair enough but like Kev pointed out in his post this same guy would be accusing people of ducking him after only one or two recognise bout...

You can't knock him for turning it down. He's not some guy with a bunch of losses, he's undefeated and ranked number three; he wants to have a full training camp for Alexander if he's going to fight for the title.

alexander sucks too...why any top 5 fighter would turn him down is beyond me
        - Read it more thoroughly - that is why I made it a general statement, so no one nationality would get offended, who ducked out on GGG ? he had a problem getting an opponent, not a replacement at the last minute. people are very high on GGG(he is good but who has he beaten?) and if my quote was further studied, you would have seen that Mr. Bizier had a fight scheduled 7 days after the may 18th IBF championship fight 1) he would have been a headliner 2) he would be fighting for a major world title 3) he is already in camp training for his may 25th scheduled fight - he sat with his whole team and no one grabbed the opportunity by the horns ? Gabby Rosado dared to be great and took the fight on the first offer ! so all of these guys turning GGG down? Ishida took the fight on the first offer ! so all of these guys turning GGG down? Macklin to the fight on the first offer ! and it goes on and on and on - boxing is one of the best if not the best sport in the world because that squared circle tells the truth, eventually he will get exposed, and he will lose, and he will either get better or fall off...

If you're given a title shot you should take it. Unless it's like 2 weeks away or something.

Bizier would have enough time to get ready.

The same people criticising him for turning it down would probably be the first to write him off if he lost to Alexander.

Fair play to him and his team for not rushing into it. If they don't feel he's ready yet then he should bide his time, rather than risking a loss to someone even established fighters will struggle looking good against, nevermind beating, and falling even further back than he is right now.

If he lost to Alexander then so what? The experience he gains from that defeat will do more for him than wins against soft opposition.

Wow what a decision by Bizier offered a World Ttile shot and turned it down - he is fighting on May 25 so I presume in training at the moment and offerd a fight on May 18 to fight Alexander a week earlier and his team says his not got enough time - if you are rated in the Top 5 surely you are good enough or does his team not think his talented enough - do you think fighters in the past would of turned this down such an opportunity as Sugar Ray,Marciano,Ali, etcI think anyone would of given the opportunity - even Vitali Klitschko fought Lewis with 2 weeks notice and was ahead on all judges score cards and starting to dominate the fight if not for a doctors decision thats because the fighters know they good enough and don't doubt their ability if Bizier's team has done him a diservice then I suggest get a new team otherwise you will not be World Championship material.

Why is he rated #3 if doesn't want to fight for the title ?

Props to Lee Purdy for taking the fight. Even he said that you never know if you'll ever get a world title shot so you have to take one if it comes.
